This 2.7kg (6lb) Fibreglass Splitting Maul features a plastic coated handle for a more secure grip and a fibreglass shaft to reduce fatigue and increases shock absorption during prolonged use. The handle is 910mm (36”) long for increased force, whilst the head is manufactured from hardened steel which has been powder coated to protect from rust. The head also has a chamfered edge and ground edges to avoid jamming and is ideal for splitting logs.
