The Makita DGA513Z is a 125mm, soft start, variable speed angle grinder powered by 18V LXT lithium-ion battery. It has a brushless motor, electric brake, lock-on function and battery fuel gauge. Other design features includes an ergonomic soft grip for comfortable use, anti-restart function, removable dust covers, an on/off slide switch and an electronic current limiter for overload protection. The DGA513Z’s Automatic Torque Drive Technology automatically changes the cutting speed according to load condition for optimum operation. For safe operation, Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) shuts down the tool if the rotation speed suddenly slows down.
