The Makita DTR180ZK is a cordless rebar tying tool powered by 14.4V/18V LXT Li-ion battery. Tying rebars can be done automatically for a range of applications such as building concrete foundations. This unit offers adjustable Rebar tying strength. According to the condition of tying material, the tying strength can be adjusted in 6 stages. This easy-to-use tool is operable by only one hand, allowing the other hand to be free to adjust the position of the rebar. The DTR180ZK’s design includes an ergonomically designed handle with soft grip for comfortable operation, on-tool storage for hex wrench and a brushless motor. Two operating modes are provided with the DTR180ZK, Single or Continuous action. Continuous actuation mode is for efficient continuous tying. The user can tie rebars by only pulling contact arm against rebars if they continuously hold the trigger. For ease of use, the tie wire reel can be replaced simply by opening reel cover.
